FAQ

Straight answers before you book

Questions people ask when they are tired of guessing and still not back to normal.

What do you actually help with?+

The day-to-day impact of concussion or mild head injury: feeling wiped out, struggling with screens or meetings, not managing work or study, and not knowing how hard to push. You leave with a practical plan, not just a label.

Is this a medical clinic / will you diagnose me?+

No. We do not replace A&E, your GP, or a neurologist. If something looks medically urgent or outside our scope, we send you to the right place.

What is an occupational therapist, in plain English?+

A clinician trained to help you do the activities that make up your life when health problems get in the way: work, study, home, routines. That is why we talk about energy, mental load, and return to normal roles rather than only symptoms.

Do I need a referral?+

You can contact us directly. Some insurers or employers need a GP or specialist referral. We still screen for safety either way.

Can you help me get back to work?+

Yes, that is a common reason people come. We help design a staged return you can actually stick to. We cannot guarantee job outcomes.

Is this online or in London?+

Complex situations are better face to face in Greater London. Remote options are used when screening suggests they are safe and useful, often for follow-up.

How many sessions will I need?+

Many people start with one thorough assessment. If more help is useful, it is often a short block of sessions with a review point, not open-ended care.

Is this covered by insurance?+

Sometimes, with the right referral and approval. Cover is not guaranteed. We can provide invoices and letters to support a claim.

What if I have red-flag symptoms?+

Seek urgent medical care immediately. Do not use this website as a substitute for emergency assessment.

How quickly will you reply?+

We aim to respond within one business day.
