Return to work

Return to work and study

Vocational occupational therapy focused on a realistic, staged return to work or study: duties, hours, cognitive load, and what to ask of employers or universities.

Who this is for

  • You are off work or struggling to stay at work after illness or injury
  • A full day is too much but you do not know how to stage a return
  • You need a clear plan you can share with occupational health or your employer
  • Study demands (lectures, screens, deadlines) have become unmanageable

Who this is not for

  • You need emergency or same-day medical care
  • You mainly need HR legal advice or a pure fitness-for-work medical only
  • You need full vocational case management after severe multi-trauma (we can discuss fit)

What sessions focus on

  • Mapping job or course demands against current capacity
  • Graded hours, duties, and recovery windows
  • Employer- or university-facing recommendations (with your consent)
  • Protecting energy so a return does not collapse after week one

Shared process

  1. Short screening to check fit and safety
  2. In-depth assessment with a written plan
  3. Optional short programme if it will help

Fees: In-depth assessment from £320–£450. Full fees

Next step

Not sure if this is for you? Start with a short screening.

Tell us what is still hard. We will say whether we can help, or point you somewhere better.

We aim to respond within one business day.

No hard sell. If you need a different kind of help first, we will say so.
